This year marks the 10th year of my motherhood journey. While it has been a beautiful phase, it comes with many challenges. Being a stay-at-home mom is no less tedious, but being a working mother is all the more intimidating. Women are often found struggling to prioritize their responsibilities. The good news is that you don’t necessarily have to choose between the two. It is possible to be a mother and a working woman at the same time. The world is opening up to this thought, and today is the best time to restart your career, given the increasing emphasis on diversity and inclusion in the corporate world! So, fear not, it will all fall into place…just dare to pursue.
Balancing motherhood and career can be challenging, but it is possible. Here are some pointers that can help you balance both worlds:
Set realistic expectations
Create a schedule
Communicate with your employer
Stay connected with your child
Outsource tasks
Stay connected with your children
Take care of yourself
Build a support network
Stay positive
At the end it all works out, so stop being hard on yourself and keep yourself going! You’ve got this lady!
